Michael is a senior at Minnetonka High School and has been working with MNYMO since 2024. He attended MOP in 2025 and RSI in 2026. He qualified for the 2025–26 TST cycle and won a gold medal at AMM 2026. He's the captain of Minnetonka Math Team, a captain of the Minnesota All-State Math Team, and the president of Math + Science Club.
He enjoys writing, 斗地主, poker, riichi mahjong, and 升級. Michael enjoys telling dumb jokes and is very patriotic for his state. His favorite riichi mahjong yaku is ryuuiisou, and his favorite Taylor Swift album is Speak Now.
Since founding MNYMO in 2024, she was its president from 2024 to 2026. Angie has been involved in competition math since 5th grade, having participated in a variety of math competitions such as ARML, HMMT, CMIMC, PUMAC, and Girls in Math at Yale. She was a captain of the Minnesota All-State Math Team. She received an Honorable Mention on the USAJMO, placed 15th at Math Prize for Girls at MIT, and placed 5th in MATHCOUNTS State. She was a teacher at LIVE with Professor Po-Shen Loh and coached her local MATHCOUNTS team. Besides math, she enjoys congressional debate, piano, and tennis and considers herself to be a die-hard football fan.
Austin is a rising senior at Mounds View High School. He has been involved in math competitions since 6th grade, competing in various competitions such as the AMC competition series, MathCounts, ARML, HMMT, and CMIMC. He has qualified for AIME several times, and received an Honorable Mention on the USAJMO. He is also a 2x MathCounts Nationals qualifier. He has been a member of the Minnesota All-State Math Team for 5 years. He also coaches his local MathCounts team. Outside of math, Austin enjoys basketball, cello, and physics. He also enjoys listening to music and is a die-hard Celtics fan.
Jeff is a rising junior at Wayzata High School who has done math competitions since 6th grade. He has competed in multiple math competitions like SMT, ARML, and BMT. He is a MOP attendee, a 2x Mathcounts nationals qualifier, and placed 31st in 2023 and 21st in 2024 as part of the nats team that placed 4th that year. He also has been part of the MN All-State Math team since 7th grade. Outside of math, he enjoys wasting all his time playing NYT games.
Taison is a rising senior at Blaine High School who has been involved in math competitions since 9th grade. He has participated in a variety of contests, including the AMC series, ARML, HMMT, and BMT. He's a captain of the Minnesota All-State Math Team. Some of his achievements include qualifying for the USAJMO, placing 2nd in the BMT General Round, and placing 3rd at the MN Math League State Tournament. Outside of math, Taison enjoys cello, tennis, and rubik's cubes.
Zack is a rising senior who has been involved in math competitions since 5th grade. Zack has been on Minnesota’s All-State Math Team since eighth grade and has competed in many math competitions, including HMMT, SMT, Mathcounts, AIME, and ARML. He received an Honorable mention on USAJMO, a gold medal on the USAMTS, and placed 17th and 20th nationally on the BMT Discrete and Algebra rounds, respectively. Outside of math, Zack enjoys fencing, playing piano, coding, listening to music, and playing Minecraft.
Eric Ding is a rising junior who goes to Century High School. He's competed in many competitions, including the AMC series, Mathcounts, ARML, and HMMT. He is a USAMO qualifier, an ARML Tiebreaker Round qualifier, a 3x Mathcounts Nationals qualifier, and a Mathcounts Nationals Countdown Round qualifier in 2024. Outside of math, Eric likes science, coding, playing piano, and solving rubik's cubes.
Addison Shi is a sophomore at Minnetonka High School. She first participated in competition math through MATHCOUNTS in 7th grade and has since participated in other competitions such as AMC, AIME, and is a member of the MN All-State Math Team. Outside of math, Addison has also participated in Science Bowl, Science Olympiad, and likes physics, reading, and sleeping.
Andreas is a rising junior at Minnetonka High School who has been on the Minnesota All-State Math Team since 8th grade. He has competed in various math competitions such as MATHCOUNTS, AMC, AIME, SMT, and ARML. Outside of math, Andreas also enjoys competing in Science Bowl and playing the flute.
Jack is a rising junior from St. Paul Academy and Summit School. He has competed in math competitions since 7th grade, including MATHCOUNTS, AMC, AIME, ARML, and SMT. He also enjoys Science Olympiad, Public Forum debating, playing the viola, and fencing. In his free time, he can be found playing casual chess or reading debate cases.
Allison is a rising junior at Sartell High School. She has participated in math competitions since 6th grade, including MATHCOUNTS, MSHSML, AMC/AIME, and several national competitions with the Minnesota All-State Math Team. She also competed in USAMTS and received a bronze medal from AMM. Apart from math, Allison is involved in robotics as a member of FRC 6045. In her free time, she enjoys playing TETR.IO and Minecraft, as well as watching anime.
Ansh is a rising sophomore at Century High School who has been involved in math competitions since 6th grade. He is a member of the Minnesota All-State Math Team and has competed in various competitions, such as the AMC series, ARML, MSHSML, CMIMC. He was also a competitor at MATHCOUNTS Nationals. In his free time, Ansh likes to play chess, play tennis, and scroll.
Elizabeth is a rising senior at Century High School. She has competed in several math competitions including MathCounts, AIME, and ARML, along with qualifying for Math Prize for Girls. She enjoys playing tennis, playing piano, art, and listening to music. She is passionate about empowering young girls in math and is excited about the opportunity to be a part of the girls initiative to make this happen.
